Jack Harlow has been a part of the New Balance team since 2023, but has only released a handful of shoes since then. Next week, the artist will drop his “Black Coffee” T500, his first sneaker drop in nearly two years.
New Balance seems to have forgotten they signed Jack Harlow to an endorsement deal a few years back, because the rapper has only released a few sneakers since the contract was formalized in 2022. His debut landed in 2023, and followed up with the excellent “Rose Runner” in 2024. Last year delivered a simple take on the 442 V2, an indoor soccer shoe, and this week, the two have announced their latest collaboration, which sees the Louisville native taking on the T500 for his next project. Originally released in 1982 as a premium tennis sneaker, the model returned to the streets in 2023 through an Aimé Leon Dore collaboration. AURALEE also released pairs of the slim trainer last year, putting Harlow in elite company with this release. His version of the tennis classic comes dressed in a “Black Coffee” brown colorway, applied across the models crinkled synthetic leather upper and midsole. Curiously, the shoe’s lining is made from real pigskin leather, a strange contrast from the faux outer shell.

Jack Harlow’s latest release with New Balance has been scheduled to arrive next Friday, September 4th, 2026. Marking the artist’s first release with the Boston brand in nearly two years, the T500 comes dressed in a synthetic crinkled leather build, colored entirely in a deep “Black Coffee” shade of brown. Pairs will be available through the NB website for $130.
