New Balance’s Seasonal Collection led by Teddy Santis is adding the 990v4 to their rotation this year. Our first look at the style shows off a mixed grey and navy blue colorway, likely coming this Spring.

When Aimé Leon Dore’s Teddy Santis took over New Balance’s Made in USA division, the sneaker community was understandably excited to see what was in store. Since then, the Boston brand’s releases from the line have skyrocketed to some of the most popular silhouettes on the market, thanks to the interesting colors and the timeless style of the 990v1, v2, and v3. Now, Santis and co. are adding the 990v4 to their rotation, bringing some fresh palettes to the retro style. First up, a simple grey look has emerged. The pair begins with an off-white mesh base layer, adding navy blue leather mid layers on top. Finally, shaggy grey suede decorates the exterior of the silhouette. while a light tan heel counter completes the look.
