New Balance’s first batch of Made in USA Seasonal Collection footwear releases this week, kicking off their 2024 lineup. The “Grey Matter” pack is up first, featuring the 998 in its midst.

The New Balance 998 returned to the brand’s catalog last year, first introduced as a part of their ongoing Made in USA project, led by teddy Santis. The retro runner has seen a number of releases since then, and returns in 2024 for the MiUSA line. The first release of the year is set for later this week, delivering the “Grey Matter” pack of the 990v6, 990v4, 996, and this pair of the 998. The look features a pale mesh base, adding shades of grey for the outer nubuck and suede layers. Black accents decorate the mid layers and heels, with a splash of cream to complete the look.

New Balance’s next release of their Made in USA 998 from the 2024 Seasonal Collection will arrive late this month, on February 8th, 2024. Dressed in a simple “Grey Matter” greyscale look, pairs will likely be available from both the brand’s website and select retailers for $210.
