New Balance 998 Made in USA CastlerockNew Balance’s Made in USA collection is adding more silhouettes this year, under the direction of Teddy Santis. This week, we have an early look at a ‘Castlerock’ grey 998, coming soon.

New Balance’s Made in USA collection has seen a massive uptick in releases over the past year, thanks to its new creative director Teddy Santis of ALD. The initial seasons focused largely on the 990’s v1, v2, and v3 formats, using the same color palettes across all three models. Now, new styles are beginning to emerge in the Made program, like the 990v4, and now, the 998. The first release came from Ronnie Fieg’s Kith (which will see a wider drop on Monday), and now NB’s standard-issue pairs have started to surface, including this ‘Castlerock’ grey style. The pair features a shaggy suede upper and comes with accents in tan and dark navy blue.
