Neighborhood and adidas are back, this time scaling back from a fully-fledged footwear collection to instead focus on just one silhouette; the Superstar. Check out the Japanese brand’s new two-pack of suede Superstars, coming soon.

Neighborhood and adidas have been partnering up for nearly two decades, bringing Japanese design and craftsmanship to the German sneaker giants’ wide range of footwear. While the two have reworked dozens of classic adidas shoes over the years, they always seem to come back to the Superstar, one of the Three Stripes most popular silhouettes of all time. This week, the two unveiled their latest release of the retro court shoe, remaking the Superstar in premium materials and with plenty of NBHD-inspired details. Dressed in two colorways, black and army green, each pair is constructed from high quality suede, and adds a removable zippered panel to the lacing system for come on the fly customization.

The latest project from longtime partners adidas and Neighborhood has been scheduled to release later this week, on August 28th, 2021. Available in black and army green, the NBHD edition will release initially from the Japanese brand’s website for $171, with a global drop likely to follow in the coming weeks.
