Japan’s Neighborhood is reuniting with adidas this year, for another entry in their long-standing collaborative partnership. This year’s project will include a new pair of the iconic SuperStar, covered with NBHD branding and cast in a simple Cement Grey color scheme.

Neighborhood and adidas have a new project in the works for 2024. Last year, the Japanese streetwear label teamed up with the Three Stripes to release come special pairs of the NMD_S1, including a modified moccasin-inspired boot with a few technical details. This year’s project returns to their roots, the SuperStar, one of the first silhouettes they collaborated on over a decade ago. This year’s pairs make some modifications to the silhouette, by extending the height of the sole’s heels, and adding lightning bolt inlays with TOKYO branding across the back. The upper is cast entirely in a Cement Grey leather, with suede stripes and heel counters, and white NBHD branding to complete the look.

This year’s release from Japan’s Neighborhood and adidas has not been announced yet, but is anticipated to arrive sometime later in 2024. Featuring a slightly modified SuperStar cast in a “Cement Grey” color scheme, pairs will likely be available from the Confirmed app as well as select retailers of both partners. Clothing is releasing their “Fly Fishing” collection later this week.
