The National Park Foundation is set to lend a hand on the latest adidas A-ZX project with the addition of the ZX 5000 which opts for a special design dedicated to Joshua Tree National Park in California.

The Joshua Tree National park is located in Southeastern California near Palm Springs. Named after the Joshua Tree that originated in Mojave, the National Park is made up of two desserts, the higher elevation, Mojave Desert, and the other which is lower and more characteristic to the Colorado Desert. The entire land consists of dry and rocky terrain while also showcasing the ever so popular Joshua Tree. This design also showcases a desert sunset colorway as a nod to the one of a kind sight the Joshua Tree National Park contains.

Featuring a Cordura rip-stop upper, the sneaker arrives with a purple base. Soft Pink leather overlays then contrast the design on the toe and eyestay overlays while also appearing on the plastic heel counter which adds much-needed support. Orange detailing is then given throughout on suede detailing on the toe and heel while also covering the lacing system as well as the Three Stripes branding on the side paneling which showcases two different shades of oranges for a nice overall aesthetic. The look is then completed with a Joshua tree sunset logo placed onto the tongues while a soft pink midsole and black rubber outsole finish off the new look.
