adidas and Copenhagen’s NAKED have reunited for their sixth collaborative release, casting the retro Supernova Cushion 7 runner in a stealthy black ‘Onyx’ colorway with iridescent accents, available now.

The adidas Supernova Cushion 7 is slowly making a return in 2022, adding new colorways on a semi-regular basis. Our favorite release of the retro style so far comes from Copenhagen’s women’s sneaker boutique, NAKED, who teamed up with the Three Stripes for their sixth collaborative effort this month. Featuring the early-2000s runner, the pair’s focus for this project was to “explore the importance and impact of energy in all of its forms.” The result is a clean ‘Onyx’ colorway, which blacks out the shoe’s design. The look begins with a jet black mesh base layer, held in place by metallic Three Stripes to mimic it’s namesake stone. Patent leather overlays line the toes and heels, while the mudguard adds an iridescent mid-layer for a flash of color, also paired with bright purple elements embedded in the heels.

The latest project from NAKED and adidas, featuring the retro Supernova Cushion 7 runner, released earlier this week, and is currently available directly from the Copenhagen boutique’s website. Dressed in black & blue, the dark new look is available in a range of sizes with a price tag of just $120 attached, with no news of a wider release at this time.
