Early in 2017, images surfaced of a new women’s adidas silhouette. The shoe features a full-length Boost midsole along with an abnormal construction. Now, adidas has tapped women’s boutique Naked to help debut the new adidas Arkyn.

Women’s footwear is changing. As the love for sneakers in popular culture grows, so does it’s fanbase. In recent years, brands have started to satisfy this growing customer pool by creating exciting new female-exclusive footwear that is desirable by both sexes. This week, adidas is ready to roll out their latest in stylish women’s shoes, the new Arkyn silhouette. The shoe features a one-piece Primeknit upper similar to that of the NMD_CS1, with added suede support overlays that also act as eyelets. The lateral side of the shoe is completely plain, featuring no distinctive branding, keeping the three stripe branding on the medial side. The full-length Boost midsole is the most interesting piece of the sneaker, as the heel area features a rounded disc inserted in the Boost for additional support. To help debut the new Arkyn, adidas gave Copenhagen’s Naked, a women’s sneaker store, a chance to give their take on the new silhouette. The result is a simple, monochromatic design that was built to be loved by women and envied by men. The shoe is sleek & distinctive while the apparel provides a fresh unisex look in black and white.
