Mountain Research and Reebok are continuing their exciting series of collaborations in 2020, this time taking inspiration fro,m golf shoes, saddle shoes, and other uniform footwear for a new tonal colorway of the Reebok Classic Leather.
Reebok and their Japanese outdooring collaborators Mountain Research have been knocking special projects out of the park all year long. Starting off with the DMX Trail Shadow back in April, the two then moved on to the classic Alien Stomper before switching back to the DMX Trail in October. Now, the two have unveiled a fourth project set for release sometime in 2020, taking inspiration from uniform footwear like golf shoes and saddle shoes for a new color-blocked Classic Leather. For this release, the Classic silhouette has been reconstructed entirely from top-of-the-line leather, breaking ranks only for a soft terry inner lining. The color blocking on this Classic Leather is split in two with most of the silhouette blanketed in plush white leather, save for the lacing overlay and tongue, both of which are decked out in black for a contrasting look.

Mountain Research’s unique take on the Reebok Classic Leather has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to launch sometime in Fall 2020. The uniform-shoe-inspired look will likely be available from both Reebok and select retailers, with a price tag somewhere in the $140+ range.
