Sneaker Politics is back with another excellent collab release this season. Reuniting with Reebok, the two have given the Workout Plus a “Wishing Ritual” makeover, featuring a water-activated graphic pattern across it’s unassuming white leather upper.
Louisiana-based retailer Sneaker Politics is one of the best collaborators in the sneaker world right now. Founded in 2006, the store is celebrating it’s twentieth anniversary this year, and has lined up a wide range of special collaborations for the occasion. Their first offering of the year was a beautiful pair of Saucony’s Omni 9 runner in January, followed by an adidas Goukana in February. March brought us the “Patchwork” Anta Kai 3, and this week, they’ve unveiled their April release, the “Wishing Ritual” Reebok Workout Plus.
The latest project from Politics and Reebok is their first in some time, and a welcome reunion between two of our favorite operators in the sneaker world. This project focuses on the Workout Plus trainer, giving the shoe a hidden look inspired by the “ever-present but unseen” energy of New Orleans, and the city’s association with voodoo and rituals. Dubbed “Wishing Ritual”, the sneaker comes in an unassuming white leather build. When water hits the upper, the shoe is transformed, unveiling a hidden graphic print across the entire model. Multiple XXX hits reference the idea of leaving a lasting mark; also bringing color to the shoe with shades of pink, brown, and grey. Politics branding replaces the usual Reebok logo on the sides and tongue labels to complete the look.

Sneaker Politics and Reebok’s latest collabortive sneaker is set to release this week, on April 18th, 2026. The Louisiana retailer has already opened their EQL raffle, and is accepting entries until Friday morning. The “Wishing Ritual” Workout Plus features a water-activated graphic over a white leather base, and is currently expected to be a Politics exclusive, priced at $140.
