The Aloha Super is back. After over a year away from retail shelves, Mark Gonzales’ signature adidas sneaker is back with a new colorway, which throws it back to 1991 in memory of the pro skater’s legendary Wallenburg Ollie.

Mark Gonzales’ post-pro skateboarding career has been blowing up in the past few years, between his ongoing collaboration with Supreme and a signature shoe with adidas. While the latter has only seen one true release back in August of 2018, the Aloha Super is still out there, and ready to return in a new colorway this season. The new look takes inspiration the legendary Wallenburg Ollie from 1991, when Mark jumped a massive four-block at San Francisco’s Wallenburg High School for his part in Blind’s Video Days. The Aloha Super’s color scheme borrows from the surroundings in the video, painting the upper in a solid off-white tone with light peach colored accents on the inner lining and branded tongues. The semi-translucent midsole returns for this look, showing how the Predator-inspired black Three Stripes extend into the sole.
