Lego’s participation in adidas’ A-ZX series was the start of a larger collaboration, bringing the storied brands together in a new partnership. This week, they have unveiled the next step in the relationship, featuring the ZX 8000 in a pack of basic Lego brick colors.

The partnership between Lego and adidas kicked off back in September of 2020, with the Danish brand’s contribution to adidas’ A-ZX series, featuring a special ZX sneaker release for every letter of the alphabet. After the release, the two announced an ongoing collaboration bringing Lego to life via footwear. This week, we have a first look at the initial offerings from this new partnership, once again featuring the Lego-studded ZX 8000 in a colorful collection. The pack includes six colorways total, each taking on a tonal look with shades taken directly from the original six lego brick colors, red, blue, yellow, green, black, and grey. Each pair features the signature Lego studs on the heel, as well as yellow and white stripes and Lego-branded tongues.
