Kith and New Balance have had a strong relationship since the NYC-based brand’s inception over a decade ago. This week, the two unveiled their latest works, the 990v2 and 990v3 for the Fall 2022 season.

The first sneaker project overseen by Kith founder Ronnie Fieg was with New Balance, who granted him the opportunity to release a handful of special colorways during his time at David Z’s. Since then, the two have worked together regularly, creating a range of colorways and using them across a number of Fieg’s favorite NB silhouettes. This week, the two announced their Fall 2022 releases, featuring the Made in USA versions of the 990v2 in ‘Coyote’ and the 990v3 in the classic ‘Steel Blue’ palette. The latter was originally introduced on the 1300, before making it’s way to the 992 and 990v2 in recent years. The v3’s construction is similar, featuring a blue mesh base layer with steel grey suede overlays on top. The latest 990v2 comes in tonal brown, with silver ‘N’ logos and a two-tone midsole to complete the look.
