Combining two classics in one, adidas has sought the help of Kermit the Frog on their classic Stan Smith silhouette which arrives updated with recycled motifs.
When you think of animation and characters that began the craze, Kermit the Frog is up there with the best of them. Originally appearing in 1955, the Frog has lasted a life-time of world events and technological expansions and will always be an important figure in not only the US but around the world. Using adidas’ Primegreen capabilities, the Stan Smith’s upper arrives in white leather with Three Stripes perforated on the side paneling. Green detailing is then given to the tongue, “Kermit” branding, a Kermit logo on the lower ankles, and the heels where “It’s not easy being green” is placed.

The Kermit the Frog x adidas Stan Smith does not have a scheduled release date but we expect the new rendition to be released in early 2021 via select retailers and adidas.com for a retail price of $90.
