In 2021, any collaboration goes. While we’ve seen a couple of pretty groundbreaking collaborations just this year, adidas has tapped Kawaski’s Ninja line for a collaboration that includes the ZX 8000 and the ZX 5K Boost.
In celebration of the past and the future, Kawaski and adidas take a journey back in time on the ZX 8000 that nods to the classic Kawasaki Ninja ZX-7R sport bike. Featuring a full leather design that features a white base and lime green and baby blue detailing, “Ninja” is spelled out on the sides for that OG feel. To further the makeover, chrome detailing is also added to the heels with both Kawasaki and adidas branding on the tongue. While the ZX 8000 features a nod to the past, the new ZX 5K Boost will be celebrating Kawasaki’s new tech, the 2021 ZX-10R. To feature a trendy makeover, the silhouette is covered in all black while lime green detailing is added via accents and “Ninja” branding.
