Pharrell’s Humanrace sub-label with adidas continues to rack up new models from the Three Stripes, this week teasing a simple pair of the classic Samba during a speaking event in Norfolk, Virginia.
Pharrell Williams’ long-standing partnership with adidas has brought us plenty of excellent releases over the years, often applying colorful and eye-catching looks to both classic and brand new models from the Three Stripes. From the original NMD releases to to an upcoming NMD_S1, the Humanrace team has been covering all their bases. This week brings us a new tease directly from the N.E.R.D. artist himself, who sported a special pair of the Samba sneaker during a speaking event in Norfolk, Virginia this week. Taking on a classic color scheme of off-white with black accents and suede toe caps, Humanrace branding is found on the lateral sides of the shoe. No release info yet on this release, but we hope to see them drop in the near future.
HUMANRACE X ADIDAS SAMBA RELEASE INFORMATION
The Humanrace x adidas Samba has not been announced for release, and has thus far only been seen on the feet of the man himself, Pharrell Williams. We are hoping to see a release of the silhouette, likely sometime in 2023, though we will wait for an official announcement from the Three Stripes. UPDATE 11/15/22: adidas’ official imagery of the Pharrell Humanrace Sambas has surfaced online this week, giving us a better look at the shoes as well as a second ‘Night Grey’ color scheme. Featuring a leather and suede construction and the Samba’s classic long tongue, a release is expected sometime in the coming weeks.
