Nigo’s Human Made brand is expanding its partnership with adidas Originals this month, having unveiled their latest collection earlier this week. Highlighted by modernized versions of the Forum and Country and accented by sick tracksuits, the project launches this Friday.

The partnership between Human Made and adidas Originals is growing with each season, as Nigo’s latest imprint continues to iterate upon its colorful work with the Three Stripes. This week, the two have unveiled their latest collection together, riffing on the ongoing theme that “The Future is The Past”. This ethos is exemplified by this projects transformation of classic adidas silhouettes, in this case the Forum Low, Country, and the essential /// tracksuit, bringing them into the future through new additions and detailing. The footwear for this project, the Forum Low and Country, both retain their original uppers, albeit with some slight alterations to the materials used. The soles are where things get interesting. The Forum’s classic EVA sole unit has been removed entirely, replaced with a new full-length Boost sole borrowed directly from adidas performance basketball product. The Country follows a similar process, instead replacing the simple midsole with the Boost unit from adidas’ Solar line of performance running shoes. Each pair also features a number of Human Made branding elements, like the “Dry Alls” logo on the Forum’s strap and the “Gears for Futuristic Teenagers” wordmark wrapping around the heel clip. The footwear will be available in three matching colorways, though each color scheme will be released as a regional exclusive; White/Green for the Americas, Grey/Burgundy for Europe, and Navy/Yellow for Asian Pacific countries.
