The adidas ZX4000_4D has proven to be one of the most popular silhouettes featuring the brand’s latest Futurecraft technology. With several colorways already on the market, this week adidas has announced the first collaborative version alongside Hender Scheme.

Hender Scheme is well known throughout the sneaker world for their precise imitations of famous footwear constructed entirely in premium leather. After some time, adidas had enough of their copyrighted property being blatantly stolen. However, they took the opposite approach to many brands’ cease & desist orders: they offered to collaborate. The first few collections revolved around the Three Stripes’ classics, building silhouettes like the Superstar, Lacombe, and NMD in ultra-lux materials. However, for their latest release, the two unlikely partners are testing out a new direction: 4D. The Hender Scheme ZX4000_4d was not exactly a well-kept secret. While we knew it was coming for some time, this is our first official look at the new sneaker. Based largely on past versions of the 4D-equipped shoe, the upper prominently features various leather overlays to represent HS’s iconic style. The new Hender Scheme adidas ZX4000_4D will be available in two colorways, one plain black and the second in white with veg-tan leather accents.
