adidas’ skateboarding division has been ramping up their operations this year, working with their team of global ambassadors on exciting new projects. This week, Brazilian skater Heitor de Silva helps unveil the new Forum ’84 ADV.
The adidas Skateboarding lineup has grown astronomically larger this year, in terms of both the new footwear offerings and new team members. Throughout 2020, the growing subdivision of the Three Stripes has regularly been releasing new products, whether it is a new skate-ready version of an adidas classic or a team rider’s take on an established silhouette. This week, the adidas SB team unveiled their latest upgrade, which sees the original Forum basketball shoe from 1984 resurface with new skateable construction, aptly titled the Forum ADV. For this debut, adidas has tapped team member Heitor de Silva to deliver a unique take on the new Forum ’84 ADV, and deliver he has. The new colorway begins with a premium leather base layer that comes in white, overlaid with rich purple leather with a shimmering finish. The tongue is constructed from a pliable mesh for more comfort, while ADIPRENE lining and an EVA rubber cupsole complete the new skate version of the Forum.

The upcoming project from adidas Skateboarding global rider Heitor de Silva and the brand has been scheduled to release later this week, on December 5th, 2020. The Forum ’84 ADV in royal purple will be available from both adidas and select retailers, with a price tag of just $100. Pairs are likely to be limited with this initial drop, with more colorways ready for the coming months.
