Girls Are Awesome and adidas have finally unveiled their full collection for International Women’s Day in 2021, featuring a range of apparel and accessories, but most importantly, sneakers. Check out the GAA take on the adidas Forum, available now.
adidas Originals first teamed up with Girls Are Awesome four years ago, tapping the brand/community/impact agency to assist in finding female creatives to create unique adidas products. Since then, the partnership has expanded greatly and now encompasses regular collections from Girls Are Awesome and adidas to mark special occasions such as International Women’s Day in March. This year, the two have crafted their most extensive project yet, taking on the recently revived Forum as a canvas for the agency’s main message: Girls Are Awesome. Launching alongside an extensive apparel collection, the GAA x adidas Forum comes in three forms; high, low, and platform, each following a general color scheme. All three models begin with white leather base layers, reinforced by colorful accent overlays in burgundy red or golden yellow, while hints of black add plenty of contrast. The Girls Are Awesome logo can be seen embroidered on various parts of the shoe, while material hints like thick-pile fleece add texture to the look.

The adidas Originals two-pack of Forum sneakers, made in collaboration with Girls Are Awesome, have been scheduled to release later this week, on March 9th, 2021. Available directly from Girls Are Awesome, the GAA Forum features premium materials and detailing, along with elevated price tags, set at $100 for the Low and $150 for the Hi.
