Fucking Awesome and adidas originally debuted the skate brand’s signature sneakers in 2020, and seemingly have bene on hiatus ever since. However, this week the Fucking Awesome Experiment 1 returns with a new camouflage look.

It’s been some time since we last saw a signature sneaker release from adidas Skateboarding and the Fucking Awesome team. The Jason Dill-led skate brand has been working closely with the three stripes in the last few years, creating skate-ready sneakers designed by and for the people who use them. In the tail end of 2020, the pair debuted the Experiment 1, a sleek low-top skate sneaker that combined elements from adidas classic like the Indoor Super and Gazelle with the durability and performance needed for a solid session. The latest look for the Experiment 1 begins with an interesting new camouflage pattern, pieces of which appear to have eyes that stare out at you from the shoe’s overlays. Next, the mudguard and quarter panels are layered with coyote tan suede and leather, adding in olve green stripes and heel clips to complete the look.
