Footshop is taking an exciting new step this week; teaming up with adidas Originals for the first time ever. the two have been working on a boot-inspired take on the classic Superstar silhouette, adding to the shoe’s anniversary celebration.

Footshop in on the up and up in the past few years. Some will remember back in 2018, when the Czech store released their first-ever collaboration, the stunning “City of a Thousand Spires” Kangaroos Ultimate 3. Since then, the Footshop team has been hard at work growing their brand, as well as working on their next collaboration, and first with adidas’ Three Stripes. This week, the two unveiled their debut project together, reworking the classic Superstar with boot-inspired details for the “Blueprinting” iteration. The Czech retailer’s take on the classic adidas silhouette begins with an off-white leather upper and the Superstar’s essential toe cap in plain white. The jagged Three Stripes are underlaid in navy blue while hiking boot-inspired metal lace loops replace the usual eyelets. The heel counter and insoles come in navy blue with a white stitched pattern, and dual-branded tongue badges finish off the upper. The midsole is attached via a navy bleu contrast stitch, while a jagged outsole adds to the boot-inspired theme.
