The III Basketball debuted earlier this year in “Wonder Alumina” and now closes the line with this burnt grey-brown “Cinder” finish. The shoe pairs a breathable knit and suede upper with a two-toned off-white midsole. Underneath, an evolved Lightstrike platform sits over a bottom-loaded shank for balanced torsion control, while the lightweight build keeps total weight to 360 grams, the lightest of any silhouette in the Fear of God Athletics line. The reimagined Three Stripes branding carries forward the Athletics design language one final time.
Fear of God founder Jerry Lorenzo framed the closing chapter as “the fulfillment of a promise,” adding: “Over the last five years, we’ve pursued honesty in design while creating tools for the athlete that feel essential rather than excessive.
