Last year, New York City-based designer Eric Emanuel teamed up with adidas and McDonalds to create a special release of the Forum ’84 High for the All-American Game. Now, the trio is continuing the new tradition with another edition of the Forum, coming soon.

Eric Emanuel’s love of all things vintage basketball have led to a pretty lucrative deal between the NYC-based designer and adidas Originals, who has given Emanuel the chance to design a range of sneakers and apparel all centered around a basketball/lifestyle application. The most interesting part in this deal has been EE’s contributions to the McDonald’s All-American game, a yearly lineup of some of the nation’s best high school hoopers. Last year, Emanuel designed the uniforms for the event, as well as a wave of apparel goods to be sold by the Three Stripes, the main prize of which was a triple-branded McDonalds x EE x adidas Forum ’84 High. This week, we have an early look at the next special-edition Forum for the All-American, which casts the high-top silhouette in a dusty brown ‘Wheat’ tone, while adding plenty of EE and McDonald’s branding all around.

Eric Emanuel’s next project with adidas Originals, teaming up with McDonalds to celebrate the All-American game, has not yet been announced for release, though we expect them to release closer to the game in March 2022. This limited-edition “Wheat” colorway of the Forum High will come with the usual price tag of $140, releasing from both adidas and select retailers.
