Eric Emanuel’s work with adidas Basketball continues to impress, as the New York designer’s hot streak of collaborations starts up again in 2021, beginning with the “McDonald’s All-American” Eric Emanuel x adidas Forum High, coming soon.
Eric Emanuel’s work with adidas has largely focused on the brand’s basketball products over the years, and it appears that will not be changing in 2021. This week, the Three Stripes gave us an early look at a special-edition release of the recently revived Forum High slated to launch this year, celebrating the classic McDonald’s All-American game. Designed by Eric Emanuel, this limited-edition version of the Forum features a cream white leather construction with plenty of colorful accents in red, yellow, and navy blue, representing both McDonald’s and Emanuel himself. Peppered with branding from both partners, this Forum High packs plenty of details into one shoe, with McDonald’s logos on the tongue and medial side of the toe, while Emanuel’s EE logo appears on the lateral sides of the toebox.

Eric Emanuel’s latest project with adidas Originals, the “McDonald’s All-American” Forum High, has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to launch closer to the date of the All-Star game. This limited-edition release of the Forum High will come with the usual price tag of $140, releasing from both adidas and select retailers.
