Eric Emanuel and adidas are back with another collegiate entry of the Forum ’84, this time expanding their collaboration to include four of the country’s best college hoops programs, dropping later this week.
Eric Emanuel’s love for college basketball has been the guiding principle in the NYC designer’s projects in the past several years, going so far as to produce special-edition Mcdonald’s All-American kits and sneakers for the teams earlier this year. Now, the vintage basketball short aficionado is back with another collegiate pack of Forum sneakers, this time celebrating a select four schools (that adidas happens to outfit with shoes and jerseys). Applying each school’s colors to the recrafted Forum ’84 High, Eric’s choices include Kansas, ASU, Indiana, and Louisville, represented accordingly through the Forum’s intricately layered upper. The tongues of each shoe feature the school’s mascot, while simple EE branding hits are added to the outer edges of the mudguard to complete the look.

Eric Emanuel’s latest project with adidas Originals, the four-way Forum ’84 High “Collegiate” Collection, has been announced for release, later this week, on December 17th, 2021. This limited-edition collection of the Forum High will come with the usual price tag of $140, releasing from both adidas and select retailers.
