adidas’ Consortium team is always up to something new. Fresh off their first Communitas release, the crew has jumped over to the UK to work with END. Clothing on the Terrex Agravic XT- coming soon in a new “Thermochromatic” colorway.

adidas’ Terrex outdoor line has seen a resurgence in recent months, as the Three Stripes has made a new effort to include the heavy-duty sector in more of their limited releases. This month, these efforts have resulted in the Terrex and Consortium teams working with the UK’s END. Clothing on a limited edition release of the Terrex Agravic XT. A Staple of the adidas Terrex lineup, the Agravic XT boasts neoprene underlays to help the shoe adapt to the shape of your foot paired while mesh overlays and molded TPU help protect your foot from the elements. The XT rests on top of a dual-density Boost & EVA constructed midsole, providing both comfort and stability on & off the trails. For their special release colorway, END. Clothing has given the Agravic XT an interesting new makeover. When the shoe is inactive or unworn, the upper appears in all black, save for the yellow Three Stripes and orange speckles laces. However, when exposed to heat, the molded TPU overlays brightens up, showing off a bold red color. According to END., this change in color is meant to help athletes recognize when they are reaching their peak performance.

The END. Clothing x adidas Consortium Terrex Agravic XT will release via the UK retailer’s Launches platform on March 23rd, 2019. The “Thermochromatic” colorway will retail for a hefty $225, which is somewhat expected from a color-changing, Boost-filled Terrex silhouette.
