In celebration of Mickey’s 92nd birthday, Disney has teamed up with adidas on their coveted Superstar and Stan Smith silhouettes.
Over the last year or so it’s evident that Disney is apart of the Three Stripes family. With collaborations for Toy Story 4, and the jam-packed Star Wars partnership, they look to move on to Mickey as the famous mouse will be turning 92 this year. In celebration of nostalgia and vintage Mickey and the many years he has brought joy to the world, what better sneakers to use than the effortless Superstar and Stan Smith.
On one pair of the Stan Smith and Superstar, Mickey’s body is painted in on the ankle that show case the mouse in the famous red and yellow colors on the Superstar and even a black and white version on the Stan Smith. The third silhouette uses the Stan Smith again as this time a Mickey Mouse comic strip bathes the upper that 3-D glasses are used to see. Each arrive with adidas and Disney branding across the heel, tongue and insoles. Overall, a timeless collection that many will be out to get.
