Donovan Mitchell’s second signature hardwood sneaker is on the cusp of being revealed and upon official release of the new sneaker, it appears the star will be teaming up with Crayola for a “Crayon Pack” on the new adidas Don Issue 2.

With the NBA season returning just a couple of days ago, the biggest stars have used the hype of the return to debut new colorways of their signature shoes and even new models like Donovan Mitchell with his adidas Don Issue 2. While we still aren’t sure of when the sneaker will be released, everything as of right now is pointing towards an August debut. To help out at the beginning of the new shoes’ legacy, the NBA star looks for help from everyone’s favorite crayon company, Crayola for a three-pack collaboration.

Not waiting to implement his first collaboration, images surfaced of the Don Issue 2 sporting three different tonal colorways of red, blue, and yellow. From the Don Issue 1, changes to the new silhouette appear drastic as the entire shape and build have been updated in all the right ways. adidas definitely felt the need to change the overall shape which has created an entire brand new looking sneaker. On each tonal makeover, Crayola branding is given to the bottom of the icy outsoles as well as special yellow and green insole as a direct nod to the brand’s iconic packaging.
