The adidas ZX family is back in full force, and everyone is joining in on the fun. This week, we have an early look at an upcoming Concepts ZX 9000 in a silver metallic build, the next in line for adidas’ A-ZX series.
Collaborations from adidas and Concepts are always something to be excited about, and their latest is no exception. Coming in as the next entry in adidas twenty-six shoe A-ZX collection, the new ZX 9000 is a celebration of tradition in Concepts’ hometown; the Boston Marathon. Decked out in a silver foil upper, the material takes inspiration from the blankets used to keep runners warm immediately after the race. Other details include red, white, and blue Three Stripes, suede mid-layers, and dual adidas & Concepts branding on the tongues.

The silver metallic ZX sneaker will be available from both adidas and select retailers sometime in Fall 2020, with a price tag of $140. UPDATE 9/3/20: The silver foil Concepts x adidas ZX 9000 has now been announced as a part of adidas’ A-ZX pack, continuing the legendary collection of sneakers that originated in 2008 and 2009. The “Boston Marathon” edition of the ZX 9000 will release next week, on September 12th, 2020, for $140.
