Blondey McCoy first announced his partnership with adidas Originals a full year ago, with the release of his see-through Superstar. Now, the British skater-turned-fashion magnate is back with another edition of his plastic shoes, in a classic black and white color scheme.

22-year-old Blondey McCoy has made quite a name for himself in recent years. After gaining fame on Instagram as a street skater, the London resident quickly found himself modeling for a number of different high-profile brands, as well as designing his own clothing and accessories. Fast forward a few years, and McCoy has formed a unique bond with the adidas Skateboarding sector, one that came to fruition last year with the appearance of a new signature model. Now on his fourth release of a custom TPU-constructed translucent adidas Superstar, McCoy and team are looking to the Superstar’s original colorways for inspiration with the latest release. Constructed almost entirely out of black materials, this Blondey Superstar features Three Stripes and heel counters in white, along with blue tongue branding exactly like the original color scheme from 1969.

Blondey McCoy’s fourth colorway of his translucent adidas Superstar, this time in classic black and white, has been scheduled to release later this week, on January 30th, 2021. The PVC-constructed pair will retail for a cool $110, and release from a limited number of adidas retailers as well as McCoy’s Thames brand.
