Bape and Neighborhood are teaming up with adidas yet again this year, effectively making them one of the most hyped collaborative trios out there. This time around, the two Japanese labels lend their talents to the adidas POD System 3.1.

adidas certainly has a passion for collaborating with Japanese fashion labels. After the brand unleashed collections with both Bape and Neighborhood this year, it appears as though they are doubling back for a larger project with both brands. This is not the first time that adidas has tapped Bape and NBHD for a special collaboration, and it likely will not be the last. While the first piece of this project is likely the NMD_TS1 that leaked in recent weeks, we now have a close look at yet another adidas sneaker with Bape and Neighborhood’s signature twist. This time, the canvas is the POD System 3.1

adidas has a hit on their hands with the Bape x NBHD POD System 3.1. The POD has not yet spent a lot of time in the limelight this year, making this collaboration a special project for the new silhouette. The new look begins with a split colored upper, featuring white on the medial side and black on the lateral side. The entirety of the upper is covered in an adapted version of Bape’s signature camo, which adds the Neighborhood skull & crossbones motive into the pattern. Both collaborating partners added their brand names across the toe box, and to the pull tab situated on the heel. Finally, the lateral sides are adorned with the Bape shark face in white.

The Bape x Neighborhood x adidas POD System 3.1 has not yet been announced for release, though they did release in japan back on the 19th. Given the status of Bape and NBHD, the retail price for this pair will likely be high above the POD’s standard $100.
