Bape and adidas always bring the heat but this year they look to switch things up for the celebration of the Superstar’s 50th Anniversary and drop two new offerings of the Superstar 80’s next January.

While the Superstar is in the mix of its 50th Anniversary, the sneaker has seen dozens of new colorways and collaborations throughout 2020 but this recent leak suggests adidas won’t be stopping the rollout of new colorways next year with a Bape collaboration set to go down in January. Three Stripes have become accustomed to a Bape partnership with the two teaming up for annual collaborations on mainly Boost filled sneakers like the Ultra Boost, NMD, and even the P.O.D. but it appears that the two will take fans back into time and showcase the iconic Superstar.

While no leaked images have surfaced just yet, two colorways have been leaked to release. One being a Footwear White, Core Black and Off-white color scheme, and the other calling for Off-White, Footwear White, and Gold. The Superstars build, although in a mix of a collaboration is set to arrive as classic as possible showcasing the usual leather build and shell-toed upper. Based on previous capsules between the two expect double branding to be present throughout and the iconic Bape camo to be used on different portions of the sneaker.
