adidas’ revival of the vintage ZX franchise wouldn’t be complete without something new thrown into the mix. This week, we have a first look at another upcoming colorway of the ZX4000_4D, this time casting the sleek silhouette in a mix of bright tones, including a stunning “Easy Mint” green.

adidas first introduced their collaborative new midsole technology last year. Designed in partnership with California’s Carbon, incredible new midsoles have taken over the minds of many sneakerheads, as very few people have been able to get their hands on a pair so far. However, if the rumors are true, all of that is about to change. Early last year, we reported on a delay to adidas’ consumer release of the Futurecraft 4D Runner. Since then, silhouettes featuring the fancy new technology have been releasing regularly in greater and greater stock numbers. This week, the future-retro silhouette surfaced in its 5th standard-issue colorway, this time debuting in a hard to miss color scheme. The shoe’s Primeknit base layers begin in a near-neon “Easy Mint” before the suede overlays are added in white and royal blue. The toe box come in adidas’ signature Hi-Res yellow, while infrared stitching completes the look.

The latest colorway for adidas’ ZX4000_4D is now expected to arrive in stores on August 22nd, 2019. Only the fourth silhouette to utilize the 3D-printed 4D midsoles, the ZX4000 will retail for it’s usual $350 and release from both adidas and select retailers.
