adidas’ ZX line is heating up in 2020, with new silhouettes and retro releases lined up all year. This week, the fan-favorite ZX10000c from 2019 makes a return, taking on an easy Mint Green upper for Summer.

The adidas ZX10000C is the follow up to 1989’s ZX9000, thirty years in the making. Originally released last year in a handful of different collaborations and colorways, the ZX10000C, or ZX10K, was designed as an amalgamation of all the sneakers that came before it. The spiritual successor to the ZX9000 that released back in the 1980s, the new silhouette pays homage to its predecessor’s through its unique layering, throwback color schemes, and the use of the original Torsion Bar. Now, the ZX10000c is back in new colorways for the new year. This month, the storied silhouette takes on a light “Mint Green” tone, which covers most of the shoe’s suede overlays, while covering most of the rest simply in black.
