The adidas ZX franchise has seen a lot of love from the brand in the past year, mostly in the form of retro release, but also introducing a few models here and there too. This week, one of these new models, the ZX Torsion, arrives in a trio of new color schemes.
The return of adidas’ ZX family, as well as the reappearance of the Torsion bar, have brought about quite a lot of nostalgia for many fans of the Three Stripes. As a part of the return, adidas combined the ZX4000 silhouette with their most advanced midsole cushioning available, Carbon’s 4D technology. Then, the Three Stripes took a small step backward, adding their ultra-responsive Boost cushioning to the ZX line. The resulting adidas ZX Torsion is a brilliant ode to every silhouette that came before it. Beginning with a thick mesh upper, the shoe is reinforced with overlays in either suede or leather, depending on your colorway. The tongue is made from nylon to better adapt to the shape of your foot, and a TPU lace ghillie helps lock your feet in. The latest colorways of the ZX Torsion to hit release calendars have something for everyone, with one pair in an almost all-white makeup, the second in shades of blue, and the third in a brilliant mix f sand, black, and grey with minimal orange accents.

adidas Originals’ latest release of their technology-packed ZX Torsion are scheduled to release next week, on November 14th, 2019. The beautifully color-blocked looks will be available from both adidas and select retailers like 43Einhalb for $140 a piece.
