The adidas Futurecraft family is expanding. With prices dropping for the latest 4D-equipped sneaker, adidas is looking to make their printed midsoles more commonplace in 2020, starting with the new ZX 2K 4D, coming soon.

adidas Futurecraft technologies have been popping up at an accelerated rate in recent months, as the brand is finally able to push out the printed midsole technology on a massive scale. Along with this new distribution plans include designs for new footwear to make better use of the advanced technology, and breathe some fresh life into the franchise. This week, that honor goes to the adidas ZX 2K 4D, the latest sneaker to feature 4D midsoles as well as the continuation of the brand’s legendary ZX family.

The adidas ZX 2K 4D picks up right where the brand left off with the previous entry, the ZX4000 4D. The new ZX 2K builds upon its predecessor, digging deeper into the ZX archives for more inspiration. The result is a single-piece Primeknit upper reinforced by both TPU plastic and taped overlays on the toebox, lacing system, and heel counter. The initial colorway also takes inspiration from the ZX family through a series of eye-catching bright tones.
