November is Native American History Month, and with such an important event creeping up fairly quickly, adidas has unveiled their new footwear to commemorate the occasion. Check out the new ZX 10000, inspired by Native American culture.

While adidas is deep into their revived A-ZX series already, the Originals team is still leaving room for more projects with the retro running franchise. This week, the Three Stripes announced their new release in celebration of Native American History Month, which comes in the form of a special-edition ZX 10000. The first new entry in the ZX series in decades, the ZX10k features plenty of details and layering, which adidas has used as much of as possible to nod to Native American history for the next release. To start, this ZX 10000 features a twill fabric upper in a bright maroon tone, layered with maroon and grey suede as well as black mesh quarter panels and a plastic TPU heel counter, also in maroon. The Three Stripe motifs and laces come in a printed black and white pattern, a nod to traditional Native American patterns. Next, the laces feature a custom made fastener, taking inspiration from Native American jewelry in both design and materials. Finally, this new ZX 10000 is complete by native imagery on the heels and sock liners.
