The adidas Yung-1 has made its round this year among the brand’s special release circuit. With all kinds of promotional and special edition colorways under its belt, the Yung-1 now turns to a special-edition release, this time showing off imagery of Chinese lucky clouds.

The adidas Yung-1 has been making the rounds in recent months, toeing the ling between standard-issue releases and collaborations. This week, another special-edition version has surfaced online, showing the Yung-1 in a distinctly Chinese-themed colorway. Titled “Lucky Clouds”, the new look begins with an off-white tone for the shoe’s mesh base layer and faux-suede overlays. Some of the paneling is dyed in a soft, baby blue tone, while a much darker blue is applied to the inner lining and outsole. The Three Stripe motifs on either side are dyed in red with light pink accents. Finally, the upper is adorned with a number of embroidered details, mixing blue, red, and pink for a graphic most recognizable as ancient Chinese cloud symbols. While adidas has not yet officially announced the new release, the symbols are currently most closely associated with “Lucky Clouds”.
