The Yeezy Powerphase is officially coming back. After the initially limited colorways from 2017 were restocked in small numbers earlier this Summer, a handful of new color schemes of the vintage trainer have surfaced with the signature “Calabasas” branding.

The adidas Powerphase was a largely forgotten silhouette until 2016 when Kanye West reintroduced the world to the vintage 80s trainer. Under the name the Calabasas Powerphase, the sleek silhouette quickly caught on amongst sneakerheads, causing the Three Stripes to revive the Powerphase in its original form in 2019. Now, it appears that Kanye has decided to return to the Calabasas variation, this time with a brand new buttery suede construction. Just like the original leather versions, this release will include a total of three colorways, Quiet Gray, Simple Brown, and Clear Brown.

Kanye West’s latest three editions of the adidas Yeezy Powerphase are scheduled to release next week on Wednesday, September 18th, 2019. As per their predecessors in 2017, retail prices will stay at $120 despite the swap to suede, and it is currently unclear whether these will be an adidas/YS exclusive or not.
