The adidas Yeezy franchise has been one of the most dominant projects in footwear since the debut back in 2015. Now, four years in, we have our first potential look at the highly anticipated Yeezy Boost 350 V3.

Its been quite a year for the adidas Yeezy brand. When the collaboration between Kanye West and the Three Stripes first launched in 2015, it was nearly impossible for the average consumer to score a pair. Fast forward to the current day, and adidas had dramatically increased their production numbers in the last twelve months. In the fall of 2018 alone, the brand released around one million pairs of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Cream”, the largest drop in Yeezy history. Now, Ye’ and his team at the Three Stripes are moving on to newer, only slightly greener pastures.

Yesterday morning, new images surfaced online claiming to be the first leak of the long-rumored but never confirmed Yeezy Boost 350 V3. We’ve been through this before, with the Yeezy “Blade” samples from late 2016 & early 2017, which proved to be nothing more than that; samples. This latest leak, however, feels different. The new V3 looks almost identical to the V2, with slight modifications to improve the look. The famous side stripe running down the outer side now features a wavy design, which is mimicked by the top side of the rubber outsole. The pattern of the Primeknit has been altered as well, featuring a wider variety of knit densities to better fit the foot. Finally, the rubber outsole has been redesigned with a rugged hiking-inspired look.

The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V3 currently has no set timeline for its initial debut, though we are expecting them to arrive in stores before the end of the year. Given the colorways shown in these new images, it is likely that the wavier Yeezy Boost V3 will likely be more widely available than previous iterations.
