Recently leaked images of a new Yeezy presented the coveted sneaker without a heel tab, a staple for the shoe for over four years. Now, just today YeezyMafia just confirmed the release, check out the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Lundmark”.
Upon the reveal of the leaked images, many wondered if they were a legit pair of Yeezy’s due to the absence of the heel tab but now that is behind us as the YeezyMafia comes in clutch again with the confirmation. It is rather strange though that they decided to tweak the V2 when the V3 has been anticipated and rumored for quite a while now, it looks like Kanye and adidas have something up their sleeves with this one.
The “Lundmark” iteration looks to take inspiration from the “Sesame” and the “Statics” that released last year as it draws from both. Also noteworthy, since Ye likes to name silhouettes with out of the ordinary terms, whether it was inspired by it or not, we looked up the term and an eroded crater on the far side of the Moon is named Lundmark, which goes hand in hand with the colorway and design. Besides the name, the primeknit upper takes on the speckled look that was featured on the Statics but with a darker toned creamy color that resembles the Sesame colorway. As always a full-length boost midsole is encased in a rubber outsole that completes the design. Overall, it is a very nice Yeezy to add to your collection or to start your collection with if you haven’t already.
