The UV light changing tech has been a go-to for many in the sneaker industry and now for Summer 2021, Kanye and adidas will debut their very own with the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Light”.

Over the past couple of years, UV-changing sneakers have blossomed from a variety of different brands. While Kanye usually leads the pack with trends, the designer will be jumping onto the train in his own unique way. Dubbed, “Light” the Yeezy is expected to feature a white makeover that features neutral and tonal shaded like we’re accustomed to. When exposed to light, on the other hand, the primeknit design will subtly change with darker shades highlighting via knitted portions. The main change will appear on the mesh stripe which looks to don a darker shade of brown. While this is the first from Kanye and Yeezy, we may be seeing more UV-changing kicks from the duo very soon.

The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Light” will be releasing in Summer 2021 via select retailers, and Yeezy Supply. It has not been announced whether or not the iteration will see a retail price spike but for now, expect the usual $220 price-tag. As always, make sure to keep it locked for more details and updates.
