Rumors were flying around on an expected surprise release of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Black Reflective but this surprise drop caught everyone off guard.
We know the early bird gets the worm but we didn’t know we had to be this early. The drop went down early this morning at 6 AM EST and 3 AM PST so you can expect that there were many sneakerheads waking up to really bad news this morning. The release was just another example of adidas and Kanye going back to the drawing board to release their shoes in a certain way that allows them to be in more demand and this drop specifically did the job as everyone but a select few struck out.
The Black 350 V2’s have also spiked up demand for Yeezy in itself. There hasn’t been this much demand for one in a while. This might just be the shoe that gets adidas and Kanye back on top of the sneaker industry, who knows. If you weren’t one of the lucky ones like the most of us and you didn’t get a pair, you still have the regular black iteration releasing in a couple of days that has it’s own designated drop time and even higher stock, so things look to be only going up from here.

Although the Black Reflective pair dropped already, you still can find it on StockX, though you will be paying a pretty penny over retail for the all over 3M sneaker. If you decide on just transitioning to the classic Black version, the release is happening in just a couple days on June 7th, 2019 at select retailers and adidas.com for a retail price of $220 and is also releasing in a full family size run.
