Ready for the winter and the rough weather the season brings, adidas has equipped their loved Ultra Boost with new durable materials, dubbed the Guard.

Providing an alternate version of their beloved Ultra Boost model, adidas has reconstructed the usual knit upper and provided a brand new look and makeover that can go head to head with the toughest of blizzards. As the model turns 5 next month, the winter edition has arrived before the shoe turns a half a decade old, and for many Boost heads, it’s about time.

Two new editions have appeared and will likely be the debut colorways for the anticipated sneaker. As stated before, the usual primeknit upper is swapped out for a mash-up of ripstop and neoprene. The “Guard” covers the toe and mudguard with a water repellent shield to keep your feet as dry as possible. Just because the shoe’s main priority is to keep you dry and warm, the Three Stripes took their time to provide a look that doesn’t differ too much from their fan-favorite established look but also features new aspects that fit today’s trends. The colorways provided are also great choices that feature universal colors and many accented colors throughout that will get a lot of fans excited.
