In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the adidas Superstar, the Ultra Boost DNA will feature a design that honors the iconic sneaker.
Last year, it was evident that adidas was all in on the adidas Superstar’s 50th Anniversary. Three months in, and the sneaker has been featured in multiple different designs and themes from classic colorways to hybrid looks, the shoe has been busy. Now another standard adidas silhouette, the Ultra Boost DNA will give the Superstar a break as it takes on a completely new aesthetic.
Swapping the usual primeknit upper, rubber lace cage and molded heel counter, this time around the Ultra Boost DNA will arrive equipped with an all leather makeover. As white leather dresses the majority of the shoe, a toe overlay adds depth as a nod to the Superstar’s iconic shell toe. Black Three Stripes pop on the midfoot cage while gold paints adidas Ultra Boost branding on the ankles and tongue.
