adidas’ famous Boost technology is celebrating its’ five year anniversary this year, which likely means many interesting makeups of Boost models this year. One such colorway to silently appear online is the adidas Ultra Boost 4.0 Cool Mint.

The adidas Ultra Boost line is seemingly ever-expanding. There are tons of iterations out there, from uncaged to mid top to all-terrain ready models, making something out there for everyone. However, this doesn’t stop the team over at adidas Running from slowing their roll. Creatives at the Three Stripes are constantly messing with their Primeknit knitting machines, placing new single colored threads into the machine. The latest test to receive a retail release is the new “Cool Mint” colorway. This version of the Ultra Boost 4.0 sees the upper decked out almost entirely in versions of grey. However, a single brightly colored mint-green thread also adds to the knit, popping from the shoe in an unexpected burst of color. A solid grey cage helps to retain the shape of the shoe, and holds plain grey laces in place. The patented Ultra Boost 3D-printed heel cup is back, and constructed from white TPU to contrast the knit upper of the shoe. The pair is completed by a white, full-length Boost midsole and black Continental rubber outsole.
