After a couple of weeks of new colorways surfacing for the upcoming silhouette, adidas has officially revealed the Ultra Boost 21, and you will not be disappointed.
A team of our leading designers and product developers worked closely with the adidas running community and testers to create the new ULTRABOOST 21 silhouette, which reimagines the original ULTRABOOST to deliver a bold new design combined with the latest in performance technology.
While the Ultra Boost silhouette has become a standard running shoe for many across the globe, adidas is always preparred to take on the task of taking in the new year and applying an updated design which allows for updated technology, giving you a better running shoe year in and year out that you can always count on. The core development in ULTRABOOST 21 is the redesign of the shoe’s torsion system. The new adidas LEP (‘Linear Energy Push’) provides a 15% increase in forefoot bending stiffness for a more responsive stride. This works alongside our proprietary midsole BOOST technology, which packs in 6% more BOOST through an exaggerated heel curve, providing runners with incredible energy return and comfort in every step.
With a more futuristic rubber outsole and more Boost midsole, the brand also has attached their 2015 commitment to sustainability at the Ultra Boost 21’s core boasting a new Primeblue upper which contains recycled material in collaboration with Parley featuring at least 50% recycled plastics. It’s safe to say the entire UB21 outlook is looking extremely bright.

ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 21 RELEASE INFORMATION
We’ve been taking a look at multiple colorways set to arrive very soon lately with a full capsule expected to be dropping very soon. The adidas Ultra Boost 21 will be launching on January 28th, 2021 via select retailers and adidas.com while a global launch is set for February 4th, 2021. The retail price is still expected to stay at the $180 price point.
