For the past couple of years now Three Stripes fans have looked forward to adidas dropping all new versions of the Ultra Boost sneaker and now 21 looks no different with an all-new sleek “Solar Yellow” offering just surfacing.
Even though it feels like the Ultra Boost 20 just came out, we have a look into the future now at the Ultra Boost 2021. In the past, comparing the 19 to the 20, adidas made a bunch of new changes trying to get the sneaker updated and right with a more universal upper, better tech like more Boost and a whole new upper. The sneaker compared to its predecessor was a major step in the right direction and adidas fans have been treated to new colorways all year.
Now they’re tooling with the silhouette for 2021 with a brand new look just surfacing today at a handful of different iterations. Featuring the same sock-fit we have all become accustomed too it looks like adidas has taken a page out of Kanye’s Yeezy 380 book as the shape of the sneaker is very reminiscent to Ye’s newest Yeezy. The primeknit upper also features a new design quirk of a midfoot stripe that flows onto the toes for a nice touch that will indeed help out with colorways, as there’s a lot you can do with it. A lace cage and heel counter arrive like usual although opting for a sleeker aesthetic than usual while the biggest change is displayed on the Boost midsole which opts for a more curved heel like the 380 and displays a lot more Boost for even more comfort than the past editions.

We just received a first look at three clean colorways which you can check out below thanks to US11 but as of right now, a release date has not been announced just yet. You can expect an official roll-out to go down at the very end of this year or at the beginning of next via select retailers and adidas.com.
